On the official Twitter account of the romance-comedy series “Yuri is My Job!” (jap.: “Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto desu!”), it was announced that this will be implemented as an anime series. You can check out a first visual as well as a teaser further down in this article.
Yuri is My Job! Release date is still pending
The anime adaptation of “Yuri is My Job!” will be directed by Hijiri Sanpei (assistant director on “Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers“) and produced by LINGS and Passione studios. Character design will be done by Taisuke Iwasaki (Key Animation on “Weathering With You”). Further details, such as episode count or a start date, have yet to be announced.
Starring roles include Yui Ogura (Onna Shinkan in “Goblin Slayer“) as Hime Shiraki and Sumire Uesaka (Shalltear Bloodfallen in “Overlord“) as Mitsuki Yano. Additional Japanese voice roles are to be revealed at a later date.
Miman’s manga, which serves as a template, has been published in Japan since November 2016 and includes nine volumes to date.

Hime has only her popularity and her dream of making a million in her head. When she falls down the stairs, lost in thought, she accidentally injures classmate Mai’s arm. Now that Mai can no longer do her job, Hime has to fill in for her – as a waitress at the themed café “Café Liebe. The other girls welcome her effusively and already treat her like a member of their “sisterhood.” But can Hime make friends with her new role?
