Yashahime Season 2 Release Date 2021 | Princess Half-Demon

Those behind the anime series “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” (Jap.: “Hanyou no Yashahime”) announced that the Yashahime Season 2 of the “InuYasha” spin-off will be broadcast on Japanese television from 2021.

In addition, it was announced that the opening song of “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon: The Second Act”, the title of which is not yet known, will again be contributed by the male idol group NEWS. She was previously responsible for the second opening of the first season.

The first season of the new fantasy anime was produced under the direction of director Teruo Sato (assistant director of “InuYasha: The Final Act”) at Studio SUNRISE (Love Live Nijigasaki Academy Season 2, Tiger and Bunny, Code Geass & Accel World). “InuYasha” mangaka Rumiko Takahashi was involved as supervisor, while the screenplay was written by Katsuyuki Sumisawa. Whether the team will return for the second season is still unclear.

Studio Sunrise announced that the Yashahime Season 2 of the “InuYasha” spin-off will be broadcast on Japanese television from October 2, 2021.

Crunchyroll offers all 24 episodes of the first season, which aired on Japanese television between October 2020 and March 2021, with English subtitles on demand.

This story revolves around the daughters of Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru. In feudal Japan, the half-demon sisters Towa and Setsuna are separated by a forest fire. While searching for her sister, Towa gets into a tunnel that transports her to contemporary Japan, where she meets Kagome Higurashi’s brother Sota.

Ten years later, the tunnel opens again and finally allows Towa to see Setsuna again – but she is now a demon hunter in the service of Kohaku and has lost all her memories!
