One of the main issues standing ahead of Unbreakable Machine Doll Season 2 renewal is its source material. Unlike original anime, adaptations only survive as long as there’s content to promote. Unfortunately, now that the Unbreakable Machine Doll light novel and manga series have ended, the anime might not get another chance at the screens.

The Unbreakable Machine-Doll light novel series has a total of seventeen volumes. Whereas, the first season of the anime adapted the first four LN volumes. Hence, the second installment will probably cover the next four volumes. Even after that, Studio Lerche will have enough source material for two more seasons
