On the official website of the anime series Tsurune (jap.: “Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudou-bu”) new information about the launch of the sequel film was announced today and also a teaser was released, which you can watch further down in the article.
Film starts in 2022
The film, which will again be directed by Takuya Yamamura at Studio Kyoto Animation (Clannad), is scheduled to be shown in Japanese cinemas in the course of 2022. Further details are not yet known and will be announced at a later date.
Tsurune is based on a novel by Kotoko Ayano, who was awarded the Kyoto Animation Award in the category “Special Judge Award” in 2016. The series consists of 13 episodes and aired in Japan between October 2018 and January 2019. An OVA followed in March 2019.
Crunchyroll secured the license to the anime and offers it in the Japanese original sound with English subtitles on demand.
Minato Narumiya has just arrived at his new high school, when he is already to join the club for archery. His childhood friends Seiya and Ryohei immediately accept the offer of the trusted teacher Tommy-sensei, but Minato hesitates at first.
