Plot of Season 1 of the Tokyo Revengers

The story revolves around a boy named Takemichi Hanagaki who went through a lot during his childhood, due to his lack of self-confidence, bullying from his other classmates and elders, facing constant embarrassment, he lost his own importance and spirit, but he was not always like that, there was a time when he was totally confident. With his schoolmates, he challenged other boys from another school for a battle or fight. Takemichi confidently rushes into a fight without fear.

He had a girlfriend when he was 14, Hinata Tachibana. For Takemichi, all this is now a thing of the distant past. Currently, it’s a 26-year-old child, a pawn in the neighborhood gangsters living his new gangster life, but everything suddenly changed when he saw something shocking on TV… Takemichi discovered that a similar young woman, his school-school girlfriend Hinata, died with her younger brother.

Driven by his memories, with the horrible news of Hinata’s death, when he returns to reality, he suddenly sees himself on the railway tracks. Tetta Kisaki is the main antagonist of Tokyo Revengers. He rose to the top of the Toman by manipulating Mikey and organized Hinata Tachibana’s murder in multiple different futures.

Izana Kurokawa was the former 8th leader of Black Dragon and former president of Tenjiku. He was also one of the main antagonists of The Tenjiku Arc.

Tokyo Revengers Storyline

Takemichi Hanagaki’s life is at an all-time low. Just when he thought it couldn’t get worse, he finds out that Hinata Tachibana, his ex-girlfriend, was murdered by the Tokyo Manji Gang: a group of vicious criminals that has been disturbing society’s peace for quite some time.

Wondering where it all went wrong, Takemichi suddenly finds himself traveling through time, ending up 12 years in the past—when he was still in a relationship with Hinata. Realizing he has a chance to save her, Takemichi resolves to infiltrate the Tokyo Manji Gang and climb the ranks in order to rewrite the future and save Hinata from her tragic fate.
