Japanese publisher Hayakawa Shobo announced that the two novels Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e (To all I loved) and “Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e” (To All of You That I Loved) will be released as anime next year.
To All of You That I Loved Release Date
The novels will be adapted in two anime films that will be released simultaneously in Japanese cinemas in 2022. The films build on each other, but like the original they should not have a prescribed order. Depending on the order, the story can end well or badly.
Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e is about Koyomi Takasaki, who lives alone with his mother after his parents’ divorce and has a hard time making new friends due to his social awkwardness. One day, classmate Kazune Takigawa talks to him and tells him that she comes from World Line 85, where the two are a couple.
“Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e” tells the story of Koyomi Hidaka, who lives with his father after his parents’ divorce, in whose research laboratory he meets Shiori Satou. A love affair develops between the two, but when their parents want to get married, everything changes. Koyomi and Shiori want to jump into another world where they will not be brother and sister.
Both volumes of the science fiction romance story by author Yomiji Otono were published together on June 23, 2016 in Japan. In total, about 240,000 copies of both books have been sold so far. Further details about the anime implementation, such as the contributors, are still pending.
