The Promised Neverland Season 3: Everything We Know

The Promised Neverland is a manga series written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 2016 to 2020. It was later got adapted into an anime series produced by CloverWorks.

The Promised Neverland Season 1 ran for 12 episodes and the second season ran for 11 episodes. Ever since then, the viewers have been asking for The Promised Neverland Season 3.

A live action movie adaptation was also released in December 2020. In the 2018, the manga itself won the 63rd Shogakukan Manga Award in the Shonen category.

Surrounded by a forest and a gated entrance, the Grace Field House is inhabited by orphans happily living together as one big family, looked after by their “Mama,” Isabella. Although they are required to take tests daily, the children are free to spend their time as they see fit, usually playing outside, as long as they do not venture too far from the orphanage, a rule they are expected to follow no matter what. However, all good times must come to an end, as every few months, a child is adopted and sent to live with their new family, never to be heard from again.

However, the three oldest siblings have their suspicions about what is actually happening at the orphanage, and they are about to discover the cruel fate that awaits the children living at Grace Field, including the twisted nature of their beloved Mama.

There are still not yet an official review regarding The Promised Neverland Season 3. It is still early to ask for a new season since the second season has just ended in March 2021. However, fans are worried that the show might get cancelled because of its review.

The first season was presented well and until now, it still has the rank of 8.64/10 in MyAnimeList and 8.5/10 in IMDB. But, The Promised Neverland Season 2’s rating went down drastically and only got 5.51/10 in MyAnimeList.

The fans’ negative feedbacks are making the opportunity for a renewal narrowing, and the studio might be busy with its new projects. But, fret not, since as mentioned above, it is still too early for a renewal, so there might be just enough consideration in the production house for The Promised Neverland Season 3.
