The Twitter account for the anime adaptation of “The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt (Hey, How About Treason?)” announced that it will begin airing on Japanese television on 2022. You can check out a new visual below.
The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt Anime Release Date
The series is being directed by Makoto Tamagawa (“Saint Seiya: Saintia Shou”) at the studio Yokohama Animation Lab. Hitomi Mieno (“Assassins Pride“) is handling series composition, while Ryuunosuke Ouji is contributing character design and Toshihiko Sahashi (“REBORN!,” “Digimon Adventure: (2020)”) is responsible for the musical score.
The official Twitter account announced that it will begin airing on Japanese television on January 11, 2022.
The main roles feature Souma Saitou (Yuno in “Black Clover”) as Prince Wein and Rie Takahashi (Megumin in “KonoSuba“) as Ninym Ralei. The opening song is by Nagi Yanagi and THE SIXTH LIE. The ending song is sung by Yoshino Nanjo.
The anime adapts the light novel of the same name by author Tooru Toba and illustrator Fal Maro, which has been published in Japan since May 2018 and counts ten volumes so far. The US publisher Yen Press has been publishing the novel series in English since September 2019.
