Tearmoon Empire fantasy novel receives anime + Trailer

Through the opening of an official website, it was announced that the light novel “Tearmoon Empire” (jap.: “Tearmoon Teikoku Monogatari”) will be adapted as an anime series to air in Japan next year. A trailer and visual can be found further down in the article.

Tearmoon Empire anime being created at SILVER LINK

“Tearmoon Empire” will be directed by Yuushi Ibe (assistant director on “The Dungeon of Black Company”) and produced at studio SILVER LINK. Hitomi Mieno (“Tanmoshi”) is handling series composition, while Mai Ootsuka (“Fireworks”) is contributing character design.

The role of protagonist Mia Luna Tearmoon will be voiced by Sumire Uesaka, who is already known as Shalltear Bloodfallen from the Isekai series “Overlord,” among others. Kouji Fujimoto (“The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious“) handles the musical score for the series.

The original light novel was penned by Nozomu Mochitsuki and has been published in Japan since June 2019 with illustrations by Gilse. A manga adaptation by Mizu Morino has been published in “Comic Corona” magazine since August 2019.
