Streaming provider Netflix today released a new trailer for the upcoming anime series “Super Crooks,” which will be released worldwide on demand on November 25, 2021. You can watch the video below in this article.
Super Crooks Anime is being Created at Bones
“Super Crooks” is being directed by Motonobu Hori (“Carole & Tuesday”) at Studio Bones (Noragami, Bungo Stray Dogs, Mob Psycho 100 and The Case Study of Vanitas). Dai Sato (“Eureka Seven”) is responsible for series composition, while Takafumi Mitani (animation director on “My Hero Academia”) is contributing character design.
The main cast includes Kenjiro Tsuda (Kento Nanami in “Jujutsu Kaisen“) as Johnny Bolt and Maaya Sakamoto (Shinobu Oshino in “Monogatari”) as Kasey. We have listed the complete Japanese voice cast for you in a table below the video.
The story of the series, which revolves around a small-time crook planning his last big heist, is based on a comic by Mark Millar and Leinil Francis Yu, published by Panini.

Super Crooks Plot
Being a supervillain in the U.S. is tough. The competition is fierce and everywhere you look there are superheroes who want to spoil all your fun. So what does Johnny Bolt do? He gathers up his old comrades-in-arms and goes to Spain! Because there he wants to pull off the last coup that every gangster dreams of.
