A new trailer was released today on the Twitter account of the anime series “Smile of the Arsnotoria” (jap.: “Warau Arsnotoria Sun!”), which will begin airing in Japan on July 6, 2022, which you can find below along with a visual.

The fantasy anime is being created under the direction of director Naoyuki Tatsuwa (“Nisekoi“) at studio LIDENFILMS. Midori Gotou (“Burning Kabaddi”) is writing the script, while Takahiro Kishida (“Puella Magi Madoka Magica”) is responsible for the character design.
Starring roles include Misaki Kuno (Hawk in “The Seven Deadly Sins“) as Arsnotoria and Eriko Matsui (Kirukiru Amou in “Armed Girl’s Machiavellism”) as Abramelin, while Miyu Tomita (Crimvael in “Interspecies Reviewers”) takes on the role of Little Alberta. The streaming service Crunchyroll is simulcasting the series with English subtitles.
The anime adapts the mobile RPG of the same name from Japanese game developer Nitroplus, which was released in February 2021 for iOS and Android operating systems. Shinichirou Otsuka, the illustrator of “Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World,” designed the game’s characters.
