On the official Twitter account of the anime adaptation of “Record of Ragnarok” (jap.: “Shuumatsu no Valkyrie”) it was announced that the second season will be released worldwide on Netflix in the course of 2023. You can see a new visual further down in this article.
Record of Ragnarok Season 2: Details still to come
The twelve-episode first season of “Record of Ragnarok” was created under the direction of director Masao Ookubo (concept design of “Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun“) at Studio Graphinica (“Hello World”). Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (“In the Land of Leadale“) handled the series composition.
It is not yet known whether the aforementioned contributors will also work on the second season. As usual, we will keep you up to date as soon as we have more information about the continuation of the anime adaptation.
Netflix has been offering the first season on demand since June 17, 2021 with English and Japanese language versions, among others.

The gods convene an assembly to decide whether to let humanity live or die, and choose to destroy it. But a lone Valkyrie makes a proposal to have the gods and humanity fight in a final battle, as a last hope for humanity’s continued survival. 13 gods face off against 13 human champions in one-on-one battles to decide whether humanity lives or dies.
