Ranking of Kings receives two Cours and Visual

After we reported on the English simulcast of the series Ranking of Kings (jap.: “Ousama Ranking”) just a few days ago, new information about the broadcast was announced today via the official Twitter account of the anime and a new visual was released.

Ranking of Kings Anime Release Date

The fantasy anime, which starts on October 14, 2021 in Japan, will be broadcast over two consecutive cours (three months each). Thus, one can expect that the series will consist of more than 20 episodes. A concrete number of episodes has not yet been mentioned.

Ranking of Kings is directed by Yousuke Hatta (Boogiepop and Others) and Makoto Fuchigami (“Gunslinger Stratos” storyboard) at Studio WIT (Attack on Titan, Great Pretender, Seraph of the End & Vinland Saga). Taku Kishimoto (Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro) is responsible for the series composition, while Mayuko contributes the music.

The story is about Bojji, a deaf prince who lacks strength and sword guidance. He is also the heir to the throne and has high hopes for his future. After making a friend in the shadow Kage, Bojji embarks on his great adventure to become the greatest king the world has ever seen.
