Platinum End Release Date Has Been Announced

On the official website of the anime adaptation of Platinum End, it was announced that the series will be broadcast on Japanese television from October 7, 2021.

The 24-episode adaptation will be produced at Studio Signal.MD (Recovery of an MMO Junkie) under the direction of directors Hideya Takahashi (“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind”) and Kazuchika Kise (“Tansuwarashi”). Shinichi Inotsume (“PERSONA 5”) writes the screenplay, while Koji Odate (“No Game No Life”) contributes the design of the characters.

Miyu Irino (Ritsu Kageyama in “Mob Psycho 100”) as Mirai Kakehashi and Yui Ogura (Onna Shinkan in “Goblin Slayer”) as Nasse could be won over for the leading roles. In addition, Mimi Yamada is set to settings by Kaori Maeda and Mizukiyo Minamikawa by Shoya Chiba.

“Platinum End” is based on the manga series of the same name by author Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata, who already worked together on “Death Note”. The anime adaptation will be shown in English with English subtitles at Crunchyroll in a simulcast.
