Japanese company KADOKAWA announced on Twitter that they are working on a new original anime series titled “Shumatsu Train doko he iku?” (roughly “Where is the doomsday train going?”). You can find a first visual further down in this article.
Shumatsu Train Anime: More details are still to come
So far, all that is known is that the series will be directed by Tsutomu Mizushima, who is known for his work on titles such as “Shirobako” and “Prison School“. Further details about the production’s participants have not yet been revealed.
Information about the animation studio, the plot and the length of the anime series is also still missing. As usual, we will keep you updated as soon as we get new details.
The original anime, which carries the tagline “I wonder if we were ever friends,” was announced by KADOKAWA for this year’s 150th anniversary of the railroad in Japan.
