One Piece: According to Eiichiro Oda Story in the final phase

Just a few days ago, we reported that the editor of the One Piece manga sees the end of the story in the near future. An advertisement published yesterday in various Japanese newspapers reinforced this statement.

One Piece Story is in the Final Stages

In order to draw attention to the release of the 100th manga volume of “One Piece” in Japan, yesterday’s editions of Asahi Shimbun, Yomiuri Shimbun and Mainichi Shimbun featured a photo showing Eiichiro Oda at his desk with a drawing by Ruffy next to the text The story is in its final phase.

Fans who follow Oda’s series may not be particularly surprised by this. After all, the mangaka has often hinted that the series is on its last journey and only a few years remain until the finale. Just last August, Oda confirmed that he wants to complete his work in about four to five years.

The release of the 100th manga volume will be celebrated all week on the official YouTube channel of the series with specials such as the complete title song “Twilight” by the band RADWIMPS to the “WE ARE ONE” short films or a greeting from JAXA astronaut Akihiko Oshide from the ISS.

One Piece Storyline

The legendary pirate treasure One Piece is the object of desire for all sailors. Also for Monkey D. Luffy, who has been fascinated by the hustle and bustle of sailors since early childhood. However, any attempts to hire on one of the ships fail miserably. When one day he eats a so-called gum-gum fruit, his life changes abruptly: Suddenly he can no longer swim, but his limbs knot and stretch as if they were made of rubber.
