Nisekoi: False Love, A Quick Recap

Nisekoi revolves around a young man, Raku Ichijou, who is the heir of a yakuza family. Ten years ago, he promised a girl that he’ll marry her and was given a pendant with a lock with the key being held by the girl whom he has promised to. He wanted to do nothing with his family business and live a normal high school life. Until the arrival of Chitoge Kirisaki changed everything.

Chitoge Kirisaki is the daughter of a rival gang boss. In order to maintain peace between the two gangs, Raku and Chitoge must pretend they’re in a relationship. It’s easier said than done as Raku dislikes Chitoge upon first meeting and has a crush on his classmate Kosaki Onodera.

Raku’s high school life gets more interesting and complicated as more girls come to his life introducing themselves as the girl who held the key to his pendant. The series not only focused on the romance between Raku and the girls, but also the character dynamics and relationship with each other with Raku as the glue that keeps the girls together.
