Streaming service Netflix announced that the upcoming anime adaptation of the comic “Super Crooks” will be available on-demand worldwide from November 25, 2021. You can watch a new trailer and a visual later in this article.
Super Crooks Series created in Studio Bones
Super Crooks is directed by Motonobu Hori (Carole & Tuesday) at Studio Bones (Noragami, Bungo Stray Dogs, Mob Psycho 100 and The Case Study of Vanitas). Dai Sato (Eureka Seven) is responsible for the series composition, while Takafumi Mitani (Animation Director at “My Hero Academia”) contributes to the design of the characters.
The anime project is a collaboration between the USA and Japan. The film stars Kenjiro Tsuda (Kento Nanami in “Jujutsu Kaisen”) as Johnny Bolt and Maaya Sakamoto (Shinobu Oshino in “Monogatari”) as Kasey.
The story of the series, which revolves around a petty crook who is planning his last big robbery, is based on a comic by Mark Millar and Leinil Francis Yu, which appears at Panini.
