Mob Psycho 100 season 3 to be produced by Bones

The third “Mob Psycho 100” season will be directed by Takahiro Hasui and Yuzuru Tachikawa (“Deca-Dence”) and produced at Studio Bones. Yoshimichi Kameda (“One Punch Man Season 3“) is handling character design, while Hiroshi Seko (“Summer Time Rendering”) is penning the script.

The first two seasons, which aired on Japanese television between 2016 and 2019, are available in Japanese voice overs on Crunchyroll.

“Mob Psycho 100” is based on ONE’s manga of the same name, which was published in “MangaONE” magazine from April 2012 to December 2017 and completed in a total of 16 volumes.

The official website of the anime adaptation of “Mob Psycho 100” recently announced that the third season will start airing on Japanese television on October 5, 2022.

The opening theme of “Mob Psycho 100 III” will be sung by the ensemble MOB CHOIR. Streaming provider Crunchyroll will simulcast the sequel.

Arataka Reigen, is Mob’s mentor and boss. He is the self-proclaimed “Greatest Psychic of the 21st Century” as well as owner and operator of the Spirits and Such Consultation Office

Shigeo Kageyama, nicknamed “Mob” and “White T-Poison”, is a third-year student at Salt Middle School and the vice-president of the Body Improvement Club who is also a former assistant and disciple of Arataka Reigen.

Ritsu Kageyama, is a first-year student at Salt Middle School, the son of Mr. Kageyama and Mrs. Kageyama and the younger brother of Mob.

Katsuya Serizawa, is a powerful Esper who was formerly a part of the Ultimate 5 and member of Claw. He now works at Spirits and Such Consultation Office.

Mob Psycho 100: Storyline

Kageyama Shigeo – called “Mob” – has trouble expressing himself, but is actually a powerful esper. Mob wants to live a normal life and suppress his powers, but when his emotions boil up and reach a level of 100%, something terrible happens to him! What will Mob think when he will be surrounded by fake espers, evil spirits and mysterious organizations? What decisions will he make?
