Mangaka Nanashi released a special illustration to celebrate the announcement of the second season of “Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro” (jap.: “Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san”) on Twitter, which you can check out below in the article.

In addition, the two voice actors of Hayase Nagatoro (Sumire Uesaka) and Naoto Hachiouji (Daiki Yamashita) drew each other’s character. You can also check out the result below in the article.

The twelve-episode first season of “Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro” was directed by Hirokazu Hanai (assistant director on “Tower of God”) at Studio Telecom Animation Film. Taku Kishimoto (“Fruits Basket”) wrote the script, while Misaki Suzuki created the character design.

The series aired on Japanese television in the spring 2021 season and was accompanied by a simulcast from streaming service Crunchyroll. The start date of the second season is still pending.

Nagatoro is in the first grade of high school. One day, the self-drawn manga of an older classmate (Senpai) falls into her hands. She makes fun of it, teases him and makes him cry. But the two spend more and more time together as a result. Are they really just friends? Or could there be more…?
