After we reported a few weeks ago that the horror-comedy Mieruko-chan will be broadcast in Japan from October 2021, the official start date and the simulcast provider Crunchyroll have now been set.

The series, which is directed by Yuuki Ogawa (Interspecies Reviewers) at Studio Passione (High School DxD Hero), will be broadcast on the Japanese channels AT-X, TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV and BS NTV from October 3, 2021. A simulcast in the original sound with English subtitles takes place every Sunday on the streaming service Crunchyroll.
Kenta Ihara (Vinland Saga) takes care of the series composition and writes the screenplay, while Futoshi Chikkyo (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou) contributes to the character design. Kana Utakane (Re-Main) is responsible for the musical accompaniment.
The anime series is based on the manga of the same name by Tomoki Izumi, which has been published on the ComicWalker website since November 2018. The Kadokawa publishing house has so far brought five volumes to Japanese trade. In This country, the original work is not yet available.
