On the official website of the anime adaptation of Let’s Make a Mug Too (jap.: “Yakunara Mug Cup Mo”) it was announced that the second season will be broadcast on Japanese television from October 1, 2021. You can see a new trailer and a visual below.

The second season will again be directed by Jun Kamiya (Kingdom) at The Nippon Animation studio. Naruhisa Arakawa (Spice and Wolf) is writing the screenplay again, while Ayano Yoshioka (Mademoiselle Hanamura) is involved as a character designer. The new opening song, which is presented in the trailer, is titled Muchuu no saki e and comes from MUG-MO.
Let’s Make a Mug Too consists of an anime and a live-action part. The series tells a coming-of-age story set in the city of Tajimi in Gifu Prefecture. The underlying free web manga was launched in 2012 as part of a project to revitalize the community by volunteers and businesses of the city of Tajimi.
The twelve-part first season, which was broadcast on Japanese television in the spring season 2021, is available in the original sound with English subtitles on Crunchyroll.
