Legend of Mana receives an anime adaptation + Visual

Japanese company SQUARE ENIX today announced that the video game “Legend of Mana” will receive an anime adaptation titled “Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal”.

The anime series is being created at Graphinica Studio, which is best known for “Hello World”, and Yokohama Animation Laboratory, Record of Ragnarok, which recently produced works such as “Lapis Re:LiGHTs” and “Magatsu Truth: First” and is currently working on the series “The Genius Prince’s Guide”.

The producer of the anime, for which no date has yet been announced, is the company Warner Bros. Japan. Further details on the contributors are still pending at this time.

Legend of Mana, originally “Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana”, is the fourth game in the “Seiken Densetsu” series, which was released for the PlayStation in 1999. A remastered version was released on June 24, 2021, for Windows, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.
