Kakuriyo: Bed And Breakfast For Spirit, aka Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi (Official website), is a Japanese animated series of supernatural comedy. It is a remake of midori Yuma and Laruha’s series of light novels of the same name. Fans saw this anime for the first time on April 2, 2018. Kakuriyo No Yadomeshi Season 2: When will release?
Animation studio Gonzo, (Hellsing, NHK ni Youkoso! and Rosario to Vampire) which produced the first season of Kakuriyo, has yet to provide updates regarding the future of the anime. It’s been more than two and a half years, and fans haven’t heard from them. The first season of the supernatural anime received a great echo from fans and critics alike.
So fans thought that the anime would definitely return for the next episode. However, this has not happened yet. Gonzo has yet to renew or cancel Kakuriyo No Yadomeshi Season 2. Since they haven’t canceled the series either, fans are still hoping that their favorite anime will return.
Do the creators have enough basic material?
Just like other animated series, this one also follows the plot of the LN series. It is therefore necessary for the animation studio to have enough chapters to follow. The author of the light novel series has published eleven volumes so far, the last one being released on December 15, 2020.
While the first season of Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi adapted only the first five volumes. Gonzo has Kakuriyo No YadomeshiKakuriyo Bed And Breakfast For Spirits. And that’s certainly a good sign for the future of the anime series.
Kakuriyo No Yadomeshi Season 2: Release Date?
Both the anime and the LN series have received a good reception from viewers and critics. The inaugural season also ended with several open threads, and the directors have enough basic material for the second season as well. It is therefore likely that the anime series will make its return for the second season.
It is normal for animation studios to take 3 to 4 years to renew the anime. Fans don’t have to worry about time because there’s still a good chance that Kakuriyo No Yadomeshi Season 2 will come true. For more updates, stay tuned in this space.

Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits is a Japanese light novel series written by Midori Yūma and illustrated by Laruha. Fujimi Shobo have published eleven volumes since 2015 under their Fujimi L Bunko imprint.
Abandoned as a child by her mother, Aoi Tsubaki has always had the ability to see “ayakashi”—spirits from the Hidden Realm. Shirou Tsubaki, her grandfather who shared the same ability, took her under his wing and taught her how to live with the ayakashi in peace. When her grandfather abruptly passes away, the independent Aoi must continue her college career, armed with only her knowledge in cooking as a means of protection against the human-eating spirits. In hopes that the ayakashi will not turn to her or other unknowing humans as a tasty meal, she takes it upon herself to feed the hungry creatures that cross her path.
After giving a mysterious ayakashi her lunch, Aoi is transported to the Hidden Realm, where the ayakashi reveals himself to be an ogre-god known as Oodanna, the “Master Innkeeper.” There, she learns that she was used as collateral for her grandfather’s debt of one hundred million yen, and that she must pay the price for her grandfather’s careless decision by marrying Oodanna. Aoi valiantly refuses and decides to settle things on her own terms: she will pay off the debt herself by opening an eatery at Oodanna’s inn.
Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi follows the journey of Aoi as she proceeds to change and touch the lives of the ayakashi through the one weapon she has against them her delicious cooking.
