Isekai novel “The Great Cleric” receives anime adaptation

Japanese website Comic Natalie reported today that the light novel “The Great Cleric” (jap.: “Seija Musou: Salaryman, Isekai de Ikinokoru Tame ni Ayumu Michi”) will be getting an anime adaptation. You can check out an image for the announcement below.

So far, all that is known is that the anime adaptation is a series that will soon air on Japanese television. A concrete start date as well as details about the participants are still pending. We will keep you up to date.

“The Great Cleric” is about Luciel being on the verge of a promotion, but unfortunately he passes away the next moment. Since he has a strong business sense and doesn’t feel the need to die again, he embarks on the difficult as well as dangerous journey of becoming a healer.

The original light novel was penned by Broccoli Lion with and has been on sale since August 2016 with illustrations by Sime through Japanese publisher Micro Magazine. Eight volumes have now been published. J-Novel Club publishes the series in English.
