Isekai Novel “Am I Actually the Strongest?” Gets Anime

Through a report from the Japanese portal Comic Natalie, it was revealed that the light novel “Am I Actually the Strongest?” (jap.: “Jitsu wa Ore, Saikyou deshita?”) will be adapted as an anime series. A first visual can be found further down in this article.

So far, all that is known is that the anime adaptation will be a series that will air on Japanese television over the course of next year. A concrete start date as well as details about the participants are still missing at the moment.

The original light novel penned by Sai Sumimori launched on the “Shousetsuka ni Narou” website in September 2018 and has been published in Japanese stores since May 2019 with illustrations by Ai Takahashi. The fifth volume was released in October 2021.

A manga adaptation by Ai Takahashi has been published in “Suiyoubi no Sirius” magazine since April 2019. Kodansha Comics has been publishing the work in digital form in English since November 2020.
