The author of the fantasy light novel I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss (jap.: “Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita”) announced today on her official Twitter account that her series will soon receive an anime adaptation.

Further information, such as the format (TV series, film, OVA) as well as the contributors or the start or release date, have not yet been mentioned. Of course, we will keep you up to date as soon as we learn more details.
The original light novel entitled “I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss” was written by Sarasa Nagase and has been published in Japan since September 2017 with illustrations by Mai Murasaki. The series currently comprises eight volumes.
A manga adaptation of the same name by Anko Yuzu was published in “Comp Ace” magazine from June 2018 to August 2019 and published in three volumes. The original work was licensed by the US publisher Yen Press and will be published in English from October 2021.

Avoid the BAD END! That’s the main character’s goal in this convoluted story.
When her engagement to the prince is broken up, Aileen discovers that she has been reborn as the villain Irene in the world of an Otome game. Based on her burgeoning memories of her former life, she realizes that she is almost certain on the way to the Bad End and her death.
So she makes a plan to make the final boss King Claude her lover in order to defeat him and possibly get into a new route.
