On the official Twitter account of the anime adaptation of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom (jap.: “Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki”) it was announced that the series will continue with a second part. A first teaser can be found below.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom Season 2 Release Date

The second part of “How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom” will start on Japanese television in January 2022. The new opening song “REAL-EYES” will be sung by Inori Minase, while AIMI will contribute the ending with the title “LIGHTS”.

The studio J.C.Staff (DanMachi) is responsible for the production of the series. Takashi Watanabe (Ikki Tousen) will direct the film, while Go Zappa and Hiroshi Ohnogi (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) will write the screenplay and Mai Ootsuka will contribute the character design.

The 13-episode first part was broadcast between July and September 2021. The final episode is released on Sep 26, 2021, at 7:30 p.m. on Crunchyroll in a simulcast.
