Do you remember my best rom com anime list when I talked about best rom com anime (I mean what else would I talk about in that list)? Yep today we are going to do the literal same with that, except today’s topic will be full of bloodshed. Quite literally.
It is all because we are going to discuss 22 best gory anime of all time. I find it strange that so many people have taken a liking towards this kind of anime. I mean I do, but upon researching all of these anime, I found it strange that this genre has been loved by so many fans.
Just like usual, I took all of these entries from Myanimelist (this website helped me out a lot lmao). I also took a deliberation to include the members and ratings simultaneously to prove that not all popular shows have higher ratings than the less popular one.
I also did the math to find out the rating of the overall show if the anime has more than one season. You are very welcome. And just like our previous best anime list, I would not put sassy, cheesy, or annoying comments and will only explain the synopsis of the anime. So yeah, this is the last time you will see my sassiness for this list. Say goodbye.
On the final note, I took the definition of gory simply by looking at Oxford Languages Dictionary that provides an explanation for Google users. I suggest you have a look at it to avoid any misunderstanding or misconception regarding what gory is.
If you already did that, let us start from our number 22:
