Fire Force Manga Enters Final Arc

In this year’s 46th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, it was announced that the manga series Fire Force (jap.: “Enen no Shouboutai”) by Atsushi Ohkubo has reached its final story section. When the work ends, however, is still unclear.

Fire Force Manga Published since 2015

Fire Force by Atsushi Ookubo has been published in “Weekly Shonen Magazine” in Japan since September 23, 2015. 267 of the 287 chapters so far have been summarized in 30 Tankobon volumes. The 31st volume is scheduled to go on sale in Japan on October 15, 2021.

The series received an anime adaptation, which was created in the studio David Production and consists of two seasons with a total of 48 episodes. Crunchyroll offers both seasons in the original sound on demand.

Shinra Kusakabe is new to the eighth special unit of the fire brigade, which fights against a strange phenomenon in which people suddenly go up in flames and become flame beings.
