The Japanese company Aniplex today introduced Fanfare of Adolescence, a new original anime that will be broadcast on Japanese television in spring 2022.
Anime is created at Lay-duce
The new series will be directed by Makoto Kato (Lord El-Melloi II’s Case Files) at Studio Lay-duce. The character design is by Hiro Kanzaki (Eromanga Sensei), while Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan) is responsible for the musical accompaniment.
The film stars Natsuki Hanae (Vanitas in The Case Study of Vanitas) as Amane Grace, Shougo Yano (Mafuyu in Given) as Yuu Arimura and Shimba Tsuchiya (Kai in The Aquatope on White Sand) as Shun Kanami. Further details are still pending.
The original work revolves around several male characters who want to be trained as jockeys at a horse racing school. You can see a first teaser below this line.

The story takes place in an academy for horse racing, where boys are trained as jockeys. The academy is very competitive, and anyone who wants to be admitted must pass not only an academic but also a physical test.
Yuu Arimura is a former popular idol who falls in love with horse racing after seeing it for the first time and wants to join the academy.
Shun Kanami grew up on an island and as a child only heard horse racing through the radio. Amane comes from a respected family in England, and his father is a former jockey. Amane has previously attended academies for horse racing abroad. The series accompanies the three 15-year-old boys at the academy.
