Digimon Ghost Game Anime launches in October 2021
The new anime series entitled Digimon Ghost Game, directed by Kimitoshi Chioka (Dragon Ball Super) and Masato Mitsuka (storyboard on “Dragon Ball Super: Broly”) at Studio Toei Animation will be launched on Japanese television on October 3, 2021.
Masashi Sogo (Fairy Tail) writes the script and takes over the series composition, while Mariko Itou (Key Animation for “Death Note”) implements the original character design by Tenya Yabuno (“Digimon V-Tamer” manga) for the animation. Sachi Otani composes the music.
A first trailer will be released on September 12, 2021 after the broadcast of the 65th episode of Digimon Adventure: (2020). We will continue to keep you informed.

Digimon Ghost Game Storyline
In a slightly closer future, a new technology has developed. Rumors are circulating on social networks about an unknown, strange phenomenon called “hologram ghosts”. Hiro Amanokawa, a first-year middle school student, activates a mysterious device called “Digivice” left to him by his father. As a result, he is able to see unknown creatures called »Digimon«, which are invisible to normal humans.
From the day he meets Gammamon, a mischievous Digimon entrusted to him by his father, he becomes involved in a variety of bizarre phenomena. The “mouth-sewing man” who steals people’s time, the “mummy man” who wanders around and kidnaps people …
The hologram ghosts are right next to us, and they are after us. What follows is a story from the other side of the world that no one knows. Together with Gammamon and his friends, Hiro enters the mysterious world in which Digimon live.
