Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date and Visual

The Japanese television channel Fuji TV today announced new information about the broadcast of the second season of “Demon Slayer” (jap.: “Kimetsu no Yaiba”), which is scheduled for this year.

The Entertainment District Arc will therefore be shown every Sunday at 11:15 p.m. Japanese time (4:15 p.m. in Europe) on Fuji TV and around 30 other television stations in Japan in the autumn season 2021 (between October and December 2021) and in the following winter season 2022 (between January and March 2022). A start date is still pending.

Further details will be announced on September 25, 2021 after the TV broadcast of the “Mugen Train” film, which ends at 11:40 p.m. Japanese time (4:40 p.m. in Europe). However, it has already been confirmed that the content in the adaptation should not be changed despite the explicit topics.

The second season is again under the direction of director Haruo Sotozaki (“Tales of Zestiria”) in the studio ufotable (Fate/Zero & God Eater). Akira Matsushima once again contributes the character design. The Japanese voice actors also slip back into their roles familiar from the previous projects.

Demon Slayer Storyline

Tanjiro and his friends accompany Demon Slayer Tengen Uzui to an entertainment district. There his spies were supposed to collect information about a demon… until they all disappeared without a trace. In order to obtain information, Tanjiro and the others must resort to extraordinary means. But the demon is already on their heels.
