Through a collaboration between Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) and the “Demon Slayer” franchise, characters from the anime series will soon grace two planes for domestic flights in Japan. We summarize the details.
Demon Slayer: First plane to take off in January 2022
The first plane featuring a motif of characters Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke will take off around the end of January 2022, before the second plane takes to the skies around the end of March 2022. You can check out two illustrations of the first plane further down in this article.
In addition to the plane’s exterior decorations, passengers will be treated to announcements from the voice actors over loudspeakers, special paper cups with exclusive “Demon Slayer” designs, the first season of the anime series, and various pieces of music from the soundtrack during the flight.
In addition, 18 special Menko tickets depicting characters and scenes from the series will be available in the airline’s stores. Depending on the popularity of the tickets, they will possibly be allocated to interested parties via a lottery system.
