Deep Insanity: The Lost Child Release Date and Trailer

On the Twitter account of the anime series “Deep Insanity: The Lost Child”, which belongs to the multimedia project Deep Insanity, new details as well as a trailer and a visual were revealed today.

Deep Insanity Anime Release Date

Deep Insanity: The Lost Child is being created under the direction of director Shin Oonuma (Kokoro Connect, Baka and Test, BOFURI) at studio SILVER LINK. and will be broadcast on Japanese television from 12 October 2021. The screenplay is written by Kento Shimoyama, who has already done so in Masamune-kun’s Revenge and Gintama.

Fumiyuki Gou (Deca-Dence) acts as sound director, while Kazuyuki Yamayoshi (The Misfit of Demon King Academy) contributes the design of the characters. The duo Mirai Kodai Gakudan is responsible for the musical accompaniment.

The idea for the series comes from mangaka Etorouji Shiono (Ubel Blatt) and the screenwriters Norimitsu Kaihou (School-Live!) and Makoto Fukami (Psycho-Pass), who are also responsible for the original dark action manga Deep Insanity NIRVANA, which has been published in Big Gangan magazine since January 2020.

Deep Insanity is set in a world where widespread Randolph syndrome, a disease with no known cause that suddenly causes people to fall into a coma, spreads mischief. Simultaneously with the outbreak of the disease, a huge underground world called Asylum is discovered in Antarctica. The experts suspect that this is the cause of the new disease.

In Asylum, there are strange creatures and unknown resources that are different from those on Earth. In order to solve the mystery of Randolph syndrome and to gain great wealth from the genetic information of the local organisms as well as the underground resources, people enter the asylum.
