Deaimon: First trailer for the slice-of-life anime

After we last reported a few weeks ago that the anime adaptation of the slice-of-life manga Deaimon has received a period for release, a first trailer has now been published on the official Twitter channel, which you can watch below in the article.

Deaimon Anime will be released in 2022

According to KADOKAWA’s official Twitter account, the anime series will launch later in 2022.

The first visual for the anime series, which is directed by Fumitoshi Oizaki (Acchi Kocchi) in the studio Encourage Films (Hitorijime My Hero), shows the two main characters Kazu and Ichika together on the cobblestones under a branch with cherry blossoms next to the saying “Let’s go slowly”.

The series composition is done by Reiko Yoshida (Violet Evergarden), while Sakae Shibuya (A Centaur’s Life) contributes the design of the characters. The film stars Nobunaga Shimazaki (Shidou Itsuka in “Date A Live”) as Nagumo Irino and Kozue Yuuki as Itsuka Yukihira.

The original manga by Rin Asano has been published in the “Young Ace” magazine of Kadokawa Shoten in Japan since April 4, 2016. So far, eleven volumes have been published that have not yet been officially translated into English.
