Cowboy Bebop: Official trailer for the Netflix series

In just a few weeks, the live-action adaptation of the original anime “Cowboy Bebop” will premiere on the streaming service Netflix. Today, in addition to a new visual and various screenshots, the provider also released the official trailer, which you can watch in the article below.

Cowboy Bebop Live Action Release Date

The adaptation, which consists of ten episodes that will be released on Netflix on November 19, 2021, was directed by Alex Garcia Lopez and Michael Katleman and filmed at Tomorrow Studios. Hajime Yatate penned the script in the process, while Shinichiro Watanabe, director of the original anime series, served as a consultant on the production.

The film stars John Cho (Hikaru Sulu in “Star Trek” (2009)) as Spike Spiegel, Alex Hassell (Max Rose in “The Red Sea Diving Resort”) as Vicious, Elena Satine (Vanessa Randall in “The Detour”) as Julia, Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine and Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black.

In addition, Chalmers is portrayed by Geoff Stults, Ana by Tamara Tunie, Gren by Mason Alexander Park, Mao by Rachel House, Shin by Ann Truong and Lin by Hoa Xuande.

The 26-part original anime “Cowboy Bebop” launched on Japanese television in the spring of 1998 and is available in English and Japanese language editions on DVD and Blu-ray. Netflix has been offering the original series worldwide on-demand for a few days.
