Kodansha Comics obtained the manga license and describes the story:

Yatora is the perfect high school student, with good grades and lots of friends. It’s an effortless performance and ultimately… boring. But one day he enters the art room, and a solitary painting captures his attention, waking him to a kind of beauty he never met. Forced and consumed, he throws himself upside down, and is about to learn how wild and relentless art can be!
