Blade Runner: Black Lotus Release Date + Trailer

As part of New York Comic Con, a panel on Blade Runner: Black Lotus announcedthat the series will be released on demand worldwide starting next month. In addition, a new trailer and a new visual were revealed. You can see both in the article below.

Blade Runner: Black Lotus Release Date

The streaming service Crunchyroll offers the first episode of the 13-part series from November 14, 2021 at 06:00 as a double episode in the original sound with English subtitles. The production is directed by Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop) at Studio Sola Digital Arts.

The science fiction series investigates the question of what the world looks like after the short anime Blade Runner: Black Out 2022. It is based on the original film Blade Runner from 1982 and before the sequel Blade Runner 2049 from 2017.

Unlike in the movies, the story is told from the perspective of the hunted. Contributors emphasize that the CGI anime reflects the dystopian world with anti-capitalist themes from the original novel “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” by Philip K.
