Chinese streaming service bilibili announced that the light novel “Weak 5000-Year Old Vegan Dragon” (jap.: “Yowai 5000-nen no Soushoku Dragon, Iwarenaki Jaryuu Nintei”) will get an anime adaptation. You can see a first teaser below.

So far, all that is known is that the series will be produced by Chinese studio LAN, which was previously responsible for “Link Click” among others, and bilibili. Further details, such as a launch date or the contributors to the production team, are still pending at this time.
The original light novel was penned by Kaisei Enomoto (“Ponkotsu wo Densetsu ni Suru Made no Hate naki Chronicle”) and has been published by Japanese publisher KADOKAWA since February 2018 with illustrations by Shugao. The series includes three volumes so far.
The original work is not available in English. Whether the Chinese anime (Donghua) will make it to the West is also still unclear.
